Hiking

In this sedentary age of video games,  computers and large screen televisions, Lonesome Valley invites you to reconnect with nature on any of  ten miles of groomed trails.  This carefully designed network of pathways links every corner of the Valley with an abundance of awe- inspiring destinations along the way.  Meadows, streams, waterfalls, magnificent granite faces and quiet forests provide the natural setting for these spectacularly scenic byways.

A connecting trail also links Lonesome Valley to neighboring Panthertown Valley, boasting more than 6,000 additional acres of Nantahala National Forests to hike, bike, fish and enjoy.
